Basilica of San Gaudenzio

The church is a symbol of Novara due to its 121-meter-high dome, the highest in Italy. The beginnings of its construction date back to the mid-sixteenth century, but it was not completed until 1887 by placing a 5-meter statue of Christ on the dome. In the transept of the church there is a crypt with the relics of Saint Gaudent.
