+1 Attraction inside
The most important church of Monza, built in the 7th century, and then rebuilt many times in the following centuries. It is not actually a cathedral as the city belongs to the Diocese of Milan and the name used for it is customary. It is a three-nave Romanesque-Gothic basilica with a richly carved facade made of light and dark stone strips. Inside, valuable Gothic and Renaissance polychromes have been preserved, and the treasury holds the early medieval crown of the kings of Lombardy.
