Piazza Grande

The main square of the city, shaped during the Middle Ages. it has the shape of an irregular quadrangle and is surrounded by historic buildings from various eras, including Palazzo Comunale, Palazzo Contucci, the palace of Nobili-Taruga and Palazzo del Capitano, and the cathedral. There are many restaurants and cafes around the square.
