The Teatrale alla Scala Museum is located in the famous opera house Teatro alla Scala in Milan. At the museum you can learn about the history of theater art, in particular Italian opera. The object's collection includes exhibits such as costumes, elements of scenery, musical instruments (including the piano that once belonged to the Hungarian pianist and composer Ferenc Liszt) as well as paintings and photographs of famous actors and musicians. The museum also has a museum library - Biblioteca Livia Simoni, which contains over 140,000 works on opera and ballet, including libretto, magazines and correspondence of musicians, actors and dancers. An additional attraction is the opportunity to see the interior of the alla Scala Theater from the level of the upper lodges.
