Medieval castle built in the 13th century and rebuilt in the next century by the Genoese as part of the La Spezia fortification system. It is a rectangular fortress with corner towers and walls connected to the city fortifications. Inside, there is now a museum presenting archaeological collections from the Cinque Terre area.
