Roman villa of Desenzano

The Roman historic villa is located in the historic center of the city and was built at the end of the 1st century BC. The building was discovered in 1921, revealing polychrome mosaics. In three sectors you can admire Roman architectural solutions, and the antiquarium and museum, inaugurated in 1971, showcases souvenirs extracted from the villa.
