Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta
Local name: Basilica Santa Maria Assunta
The temple was built in the Romanesque style in the 11th and 12th centuries and was renovated in the years 1358-1379, keeping its original shape. In June 1997, Pope John Paul II elevated it to the dignity of a Minor Basilica. Tourists can admire the valuable icon of the Madonna della Fonte and the 15th-century rosette.
