Trullo Sovrano

Trullo built in the first half of the 18th century. The only such building with a raised floor and of such dimensions (the dome is 14 meters high). He is called "sovrano" (monarch, king in Italian). It was erected at the request of the priest Kataldo Petra, which is why the complex is also known as "Corte di Papa Cataldo".
