A winding road connecting San Giacomo with the Gardens of Augustus. Established at the request of the German industrialist Fryderyk Alfred Krupp in 1900-1902 as a connection between a luxury hotel and Marina Piccola. The altitude difference that needs to be overcome is about 100 meters.
