Budoni is a tourist destination close to the coast and sandy beaches. In recent years, its center has changed its face to a much more entertainment-oriented and tourist-oriented, and hotel, holiday apartment and guesthouse estates have emerged by the sea.
The medieval village of Budoni is slightly off the coast, but due to its hillside location, it has a good sea view. Since the seaside part of the area began to be occupied by hotel and apartment complexes from a quiet, peaceful town, it has turned into an entertainment center. In old houses, now beautifully renovated, there are restaurants, bars and clubs, and the fun lasts until late at night.
Holiday villages have arisen around the local beaches, offering tourists not only a beach holiday, but also numerous leisure opportunities. Among the attractions of Budoni are animations for children and adults, sports fields, the possibility of horse riding, renting bicycles, water equipment, sailing lessons, diving or active trips to the interior of the island.
The attractive beaches are covered with light, soft sand. The best are Porto Ottiolu beach with a marina and the long, quiet Budoni beach.
