The temple is famous for the image of the Virgin Mary with the Child, whose authorship is attributed to St. Łukasz Ewangeliście. The 17th-century arcades number 666 (number of the Beast, Satan) arches - a symbol of triumph over evil - lead to the sanctuary built on the hill.
