Villa San Michele

The villa was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries by the Swedish doctor and writer Axel Munthe. The property stands on a shelf at the top of the Phoenician stairs, between Anacapri and Capri, at an altitude of 327 meters above sea level. The surrounding gardens are decorated with numerous works of art originating mainly from ancient Egypt.
