Alta Valsesia Natural Park

Established in 1979, the park is the highest protected area in Europe. In the area of 6.5 thousand. hectares are protected by the glacial landscape, rare species of plants and animals, including ibex and eagles. The park includes the Alpe Fum Bitz visitor center and the nature museum.
