Newgrange Farm is one of Ireland's largest farms open to visitors. It is located outside the town of Slane in Co. Meath. From spring to autumn, you can learn about the work of farmers here, see and even touch farm animals such as sheep, donkeys and rabbits, and take part in outdoor events.
The farm has been operating since 1988. It is located in an attractive tourist area, not far from the famous Newgrange Tomb, one of the most important Irish prehistoric monuments. The owners of the farm also offer tourists excursions to this famous place. The most important part of the offer, however, concerns the farm itself. Farm animals such as sheep, goats, cows, rabbits, turkeys, chickens, dogs and cats can be seen here. You can enter many pens and, for example, take part in feeding. Children have the option of touching young animals.
The farm also has playgrounds, a mini tractor track, a straw labyrinth and picnic areas. There is a shop with products made on the farm and a restaurant.
