Gleninchaquin Park

Gleninchaquin Park is a private estate on the Beara Peninsula in County Kerry. It is located in a vast, glacial valley. There are forests, meadows and lakes on its territory. The valley is closed by a mountain ridge from which a powerful waterfall descends.

Gleninchaquin Park is open to tourists. There are walking routes and hiking trails of varying difficulty within its area. They lead to the most beautiful parts of the area. During the trips you can admire the glacial lakes and the wild landscapes of the mountains surrounding the valley. The biggest attraction of the valley is a 140-meter-high waterfall that descends down a rock wall and is visible even from a long distance.

There is a farm in the park, and visitors can watch the animals and crops grown here. There are also picnic areas. It is also possible to make a barbecue yourself. At the entrance to the park, there is a shop selling products and preserves made on the farm.
