Trinity College

The university was founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I on the site of the former Augustinian monastery. It is known for its huge library, which stores, among others, the manuscript of the Book of Kells. For example, Jonathan Swift, Oscar Wilde, Samuel Beckett and Andrew Scott graduated from this school.
