Saint Patrick's Park

Saint Patrick's Park is a small city park, located near the Cathedral of St. Patrick's Day. There is a Literary Parade, where fragments of works by, among others, Jonathan Swift, Oscar Wilde, George Bernard Shaw and James Joyce. There is also a tea room and a playground for children, referring to the Viking atmosphere. There are, among others, slides, swings, balance boards and a viking ship to climb.

The park was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Tradition has it that St. Patrick baptized the first Irish Christians here in the water of the Poddle River, which flows underground.
