Guinness Storehouse

The Guinness Brewery Museum is dedicated to both the history of the brewery itself and the beer in general. The history of beer is told through various interactive exhibition areas, incl. ingredients, brewing process, transportation, hoop, advertising and sponsorship. In the Perfect Pint bar, guests can pour their own Guinness beer. The Brewery Bar on the fifth floor offers Irish cuisine using Guinness in cooking and as an accompaniment to the dishes.

The museum building was built in 1902. It was designed in the Chicago style and was the first steel-framed multi-story building to be built in Ireland.

The museum also houses a business center with training and conference facilities and an archive. The latter includes documents dating back to 1759, including the lease of the Brewery, photographs, films, maps, bottles and other items documenting the history of the Guinness company and its products.
