Thrihnukagigur Volcano

The crater of an extinct volcano is the only such place in the world open to the public. The ride down the elevator to the inside of the earth ends in a huge colorful (variety of chemical compounds contained in igneous rocks) volcanic cave. The cavern discovered in 1974 has been open to the public since 2012.
