Millennium monument

Local name: Millenniumi emlékmű

The monument was unveiled on the occasion of the 1000th anniversary of the city's existence. It consists of three 32-meter columns, which symbolize three turning points in the history of Székesfehérvár - founded by prince Gejna, liberation from Turkish rule and the end of World War II. The columns are surrounded by rings with over 120 bas-reliefs.
