Vasilikos is a small tourist town in Zakynthos located in the vicinity of several beaches and scenic, rocky cliffs.
The vicinity of the village is a protected area due to the presence of sea turtles here. For this reason, the entire area has retained its rural, peaceful character, and tourist traffic is limited here. Turtles can also be found on the nearby beaches.
In Vasilikos you can find a wide range of hotels, guesthouses and apartments for rent of various standards. Tourists resting here have access to several nearby beaches. The most famous of them is the wide Gerakas Beach, covered with coarse sand. The church of St. Nicholas' Church Agios Nicolaos Beach. The Mavratzi and Dafni beaches located under the cliffs are of a different nature. They are narrow and largely undeveloped, which allows you to relax away from the crowds and noise.
