Olympia

Archaeological site covering the area of ancient Olympia with the temple of Zeus and the Olympic stadium. It has been inscribed on the UNESCO list since 1989. They are among the most important in Greece. There are over 30 objects in Olimpia, including the temples of Hera, Philip II and Nimfejon. An Olympic fire is lit at the stadium in Olimpia, which is transferred to the place of the current games in the relay.
