Church of St. Catherine

The late Byzantine church dates from the late 13th or early 14th century. You can still see preserved fragments of frescoes from 1315, depicting the Fathers of the Church and the Last Supper. During the Ottoman rule, the church was transformed into a mosque. In 1988, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
