The cave is located on the slopes of the Vardies Mountain, at an altitude of about 70 m above sea level. It consists of a large main chamber and four smaller rooms. Its interior is covered with dripstone, which is heavily damaged in many places. At the bottom of the cave there is a spring in the form of a small lake. On the walls are remnants of stonework from the Middle Ages.
