Turkish fort built in 1872. It was used as a prison, especially for political prisoners until the middle of the 20th century. Currently, the building is not open to visitors. It can only be viewed from the outside. Thanks to its uphill position, it is clearly visible from the surrounding area, including from the sightseeing boats in Souda Bay.
