Ancient Thera

The ruins of the ancient city inhabited from the 9th century BC to the 7th century AD You can see the remains of Doric, Greek, Roman and Byzantine buildings, including the agora, gymnasium, theater and market building. The layout of the streets and the spatial arrangement located at the top of the 360 m high hill have been preserved. The ruins are also a great viewpoint for the surrounding area.
