Monastery of Our Lady of the Angels

One of the oldest monasteries still active in Crete. It was founded in the first half of the 16th century. It consists of square residential buildings and a cross-plan church in the courtyard, covered with a dome. Precious frescoes from the 16th century have been preserved inside.
