Archaia Korinthos is a small town adjacent to the ruins of ancient Corinth. Its attraction is the archaeological site of Corinth located at the foot of a high rock. It is one of the most important ancient monuments in this part of Greece.

Corinth flourished as a trading city throughout antiquity, but it flourished most at the turn of history. Back then, it was not only a port, but also an important cultural and religious center. It was to this city, then famous for its licentiousness, that St. Paul. They extend over a large area at the foot of the rock on which the Byzantine fortress walls rise. The most recognizable elements of the site are the columns of the Temple of Apollo. The Lechajońska Road runs through the center of the former town, with the ruins of former shops, houses and craft plants. There are also the Temple of Octavia, the Roman Odeon, the Pejrene Fountain, the Glauke Fountain, the ruins of the ancient Greek theater and the place where St. Paul. The Archaeological Museum of Corinth operates next to the site.
