The church has belonged to the Augustinian order since the 19th century. It was built in the 13th century in the late Roman style, but was rebuilt several times in later centuries. Currently, its facade and interior represent the features of the Baroque style. Above the entrance there is an eighteenth-century figure of Saint Augustine.
