Dolphin fountain

The intricately carved fountain is considered the most beautiful fountain in Ulm. Its origins date back to the sixteenth century, but it gained its present appearance only 300 years later. Water flows from the mouths of dolphins placed in the finial of the fountain. They are bent and resemble dragons.
