Peter's fountain

Local name: Petrusbrunnen

The work of Johannes Seiz was created in 1750-1751 in honor of the elector Franz Georg von Schönborn. The author of the allegorical sculptures was Joseph Amlinger. The characters at the base symbolize, respectively: a girl with flowers spring (east), a woman with a sheaf of corn summer (south), a man with a bunch of grapes autumn (west), and the old man winter (north).
