Mang Tower

Local name: Mangturm - Lindau am Bodensee

The 20-meter tower on the base of the square was erected in the 12th century. For many centuries it was used as a defensive structure, an observation tower and a lighthouse. In 1856, it was replaced by a new lighthouse in Lindau.
