A museum dedicated to sepulturic or grave culture. It collects objects and descriptions of customs related to dying and burial of the deceased. The exhibits come from all over Germany, the oldest of them are around 1,400 years old. Coffins, urns, objects ritually placed in graves, texts of prayers for the dead, as well as grave portraits and art related to the topic of death are shown.
