Höwenegg

Volcanic region where you can see the cone of an extinct volcano. It is 798 m above sea level. Basalt was mined on its slopes in the past. Currently, there is a small lake on the site of the quarry. At the top, there are ruins of a medieval castle in the form of the remains of defensive walls.
