Botanical Garden

The garden belongs to the University of Dusseldorf and is a research facility open to the public. Its subject matter is primarily focused on temperate zone vegetation. In addition, plants from the Canary Islands, the Mediterranean, New Zealand, Asia and Australia are also presented. Thermophilic plants were placed in a huge dome-like greenhouse. Almost 4 kilometers of paths led through the garden.
