Romanesque church which is next to the cathedral towers the main dominant in the panorama of Cologne. It was built at the end of the 12th century on the site of an older temple. It is modeled on the Benedictine Abbey of Tours in France. It is a three-nave basilica with a transept. His arms, like the presbytery, are closed semicircularly. Above the intersection of the naves there is a massive tower. The interior is raw, finished in stone. The original Crucifixion scene from the beginning of the 16th century has been preserved.
