Castle Park

The green areas surrounding the palaces of Augustusburg and Falkenlust were baroque gardens, which were transformed in the English style in the 19th century. They were restored to their original shape at the end of the 20th century. Part of the park is a nature reserve, which included a group of centuries-old monumental specimens of trees that were planted in the 17th century.
