Bremerhaven Zoo

Existing since 1913, the zoo in 2004 underwent a general modernization, becoming one of the most modern and interesting gardens in Germany. It is famous for its unusual presentation technique: thanks to the use of huge armored glass (instead of cages and barriers), visitors can safely be in close proximity to animals.
