Schönebeck Castle - Local History Museum

17th century noble residence, the interior of which is currently occupied by museum exhibitions. It is a half-timbered building covered with a mansard roof. Exhibitions concern the region's connections with the sea. You can see ship models, herring and whale fishing equipment and tools used at the local shipyard. A separate exhibition is dedicated to the traveler Gerhard Rohlfs.
