St. Stephan Cathedral
Local name: Münster St. Stephan
A Romanesque-gothic temple erected in the 12th century and rebuilt in the 15th century. The most valuable cultural and religious object is the reliquary with the remains of Saints Gervasius and Protasius. The church has virtually complete medieval furnishings, including a richly inlaid pulpit from 1597 and an altar carved in linden wood from 1526.
