The ruins of the medieval castle are on a hill above Lauchert at an altitude of about 630 m. Today it is a popular tourist attraction - it hosts adventure events for children and the largest medieval festival in the area. From 1947 to 1962, the ruin also served as an open-air stage. The only evidence of the former splendor of the castle is the baroque chapel that has survived to this day.
