The Japanese garden is modeled on the imperial gardens in Kyoto. It has massive granite rocks, and the flowing water creates pools of all sizes. There are paths and bridges between them. There are also wooden pavilions, stone benches and lanterns. Over 3,100 plant species and varieties grow here.
