The famous section of Omaha Beach (the military name of one of the five sections of the Normandy coast during the Allied invasion on June 6, 1944), which went down in memory with particularly bloody fights. Omaha is 31.6 km long, between Isigny-sur-Mer nad Vire to the west and Port-en Bessin to the east.
