One of the best-preserved Roman amphitheaters in France. It was built in the years 14-55 AD. It is a structure built in a natural depression. The elliptical arena is surrounded by rows of seats cut to the top, cut by stone walls. The amphitheater could accommodate 15,000 spectators.
