Museum of Fine Arts

Established in the 19th century, the facility has a rich collection of French, Italian, Flemish and Dutch paintings from the 14th century to the present day. It was established on the initiative of Jean-Marie de Silguy (1785-1864), who donated 1,200 paintings, numerous prints and drawings to the city. Today it is one of the most important art collections in western France.
