Sémaphore

The 13.5-meter-high lighthouse is an excellent viewpoint over the island of Noirmoutier and the Loire estuary. It houses a museum presenting important historical events that took place in the vicinity, including sinking of the steamship Saint-Philibert with 500 passengers in 1931.
