Esplanade des Invalides is a representative street extending from the Alexander III Bridge to the Hotel Inwalidów. Her perspective is closed by the expansive, classical facade of Les Invalides buildings, above which the gilded dome of the Invalid Church rises.
The street was marked out at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. This was related to the construction of an extensive complex of hospital and social buildings for war veterans. It is currently one of the city's most representative thoroughfares. Neat lawns and a row of trees stretch on both sides.
