The former bishop's palace houses a museum dedicated to two outstanding artists associated with Montauban - the painter Jean August Ingres (1780-1867) and the painter and sculptor Antoine Bourdelle (1861-1929). The collection includes several thousand drawings, paintings and sculptures by both artists.
