Saint-Cirq Cave
Local name: Grotte de Saint-Cirq
The rock shelter of people from the Magdalenian period (17-12 thousand BC) contains one of the most valuable known rock engravings - images of animals, geometric signs and three human figures, including the Sorcerer. The cliff in which the cave is located was also hollowed out in the Middle Ages to build defensive houses that have survived to this day.
