Le Puy Cathedral

Local name: Cathédrale Notre-Dame du Puy

Romanesque church from the 12th century located on the French route to Santiago de Compostella. It is inscribed on the UNESCO list as part of this trail. It is also an important sanctuary of the Mother of God. The three-nave temple with transept is covered with eight-cupola domes. Its facade is made of light sandstone and black volcanic rocks.
